A couple months ago I had never driven a manual transmission or anything bigger than a pickup truck. Now thanks to Jacquie and my trainer Brent I have an A-Z license. I encourage anyone looking to get their A-Z license to consider TTCC Hamilton.

Edit/ Update 4/8/22: I was accepted this week into the NABET 700-M UNIFOR Transport department as a permit. I took the course at TTCC to further my career in the television and fIlm industry. Original review: Jaquie in the office and Brent the resident practical /driving instructor did everything possible to help attain my z endorsement and d class (manual shifting) license - which I was successful on the first attempts. The in class portion was very detailed and informative. There's an excellent driving simulator you can use at an unlimited capacity at the campus which I used often to practice manual shifting when not in the actual truck. - great value there The airbreak (z) endorsement they have efficiently broken down into simplified concise steps I found was very effective to help with memorization. I found other students were always more than happy and willing to help / partner up with for studying and encouragement. Above all it was a very positive learning environment. I very much had fun learning, coming to school, and definitely appreciated the people there. Thank you so much!

After my first week of attending TTCC Hamilton (zoom class), I felt that this career was not for me until I had spoken to Jacquie (campus coordinator) and Melissa (admissions specialist) and they both convinced me that I should not give up on the course. After going back and forth, I had come to a conclusion that I would leave the... see more course. About a week later I decided I would return to the school to start my course again. After speaking with Jacquie many times, she believed in me and my abilities. She never gave up on me and she knew I could do it! I had started my truck training with my instructor, Brent. I told him I was a slow learner and I never drove a manual before. He totally understood. He also took the time to go over things with me many times, he was very patient and had a great sense of humour. By using the simulator it helps you understand how the truck operates. It really helped me out with shifting. I can’t say enough about this school. I love how the students work together. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking to obtain there AZ license. I was able to pass my road test in no time! I went to hamilton for truck training. Jackie was so helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much jackie. While attending i had a few different instructors. Sam from sudbury, excellent instructor and very funny. Rob from st. Catherines who is amazing at helping you retain all the information you need. I also did my heavy equipment training, half in Cambridge with alex who was great to train with, and the other half in st cathrines with George. George was great to train with. Had a great experience taking the platinum course at TTCC hamilton. Jacquie the campus coordinator was always pleasant to speak with and greeted you with a smile from the door. Brent and kyle from hamilton and Rob from Saint Catherine were my A-Z truck instructors. They insured that I understood all the material that was being thought and answered any... see more questions that I may have had. It was great to have 3 different teaching styles all geared towards helping you to succeed. Alex in Cambridge was my heavy equipment instructor. Great guy always showed up on time even showed up when there was a full fledged blizzard active to ensure I was able to finish my last class. I appreciate the hamilton family and I would highly recommend this course.

I had the best experience with this school, starting with their head office. They worked around my schedule as I had a full time job and it worked out perfectly. Jackie who was in charge of the Hamilton campus was so professional and helpful and gives the warmest welcome with a huge smile as soon as you step foot... see more on site. We did the virtual class portion of the program first and Instructor Rob was amazing, easy going and made sure that I understood everything he was saying-this makes a huge difference when English is not your first language! We then transitioned into driving where I met my instructor SHAWN WHITE - Stay away from him he's crazy! (Just kidding) but that's what I thought of him when he put me on a tractor trailer the first day and got me to drive on the road as his goal was to remove that fear we all first came with. I was so nervous and scared but his words to me from day 1 were, '' you are a professional driver.'' Shawn's positivity and motivation goes above and beyond! He had a lot of patience but pushed your limits and gave you 10000%. One day he came back to the school from another student's driving test, which he had aced (as all Shawn's students do) .....He was happier than the student himself ! He absolutely loves seeing his students succeed and that's when I knew I was in good hands. He treats you like family and I will forever be grateful. I cannot stress enough how worth it this school and the instructors are as I am now proud AZ license holder thanks to them. To Shawn: no matter how professional I get- I'll always be the student.
