Had a great experience at TTCC in hamilton. The in vehicle trainer was very knowledgable and provided excellent instruction. The office staff were also very responsive and helpful. Glad i went there.

I managed to get my DZ on my first try thanks to the excellent instructers and fellow students at TTCC in Hamilton. The campus administator, Jacquie, has managed to cultivate a great atmosphere where students will help out in any way they can. She is also incredibly supportive, and tries her best to accomodate your schedule as best she can. She... see more expends a lot of her energy making sure everything runs smoothly, and it shows. The primary trainer at this location, Brent, is a great instructor. His more relaxed training style worked well for me, allowing me to have time to think through my mistakes and correct them myself. He is still attentive and will help you should you not be able to find said mistake. As I mentioned, other students are often eager to help out as well, whether that be by giving shifting tips while on the simulator, or going over and drilling the air endorsement tests and Schedule 1 inspections needed for your practical exam. All in all I found this location to be an excellent place to learn for both the road test itself, as well as for your career in trucking, whether that be as an AZ or DZ driver. I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their license.

Michael was a great instructor, kept the atmosphere light. A lot of information was imparted to us and he kept it interesting. The Heo class with Gerry was also great and informative, really looking forward to starting practical.

Fantastic place to learn manual transmission for your AZ or DZ I did the course and passed my first try on AZ. Branden was a fantastic instructor! Patient and clear with his instructions.

Edit/ Update 4/8/22: I was accepted this week into the NABET 700-M UNIFOR Transport department as a permit. I took the course at TTCC to further my career in the television and fIlm industry. Definitely a great course to take your AZ, and DZ license training. Original review: Jaquie in the office and Brent the resident practical /driving instructor did everything possible to help attain my z endorsement and d class (manual shifting) license - which I was successful on the first attempts. The in class portion was very detailed and informative. There's an excellent driving simulator you can use at an unlimited capacity at the campus which I used often to practice manual shifting when not in the actual truck. - great value there The airbreak (z) endorsement they have efficiently broken down into simplified concise steps I found was very effective to help with memorization. I found other students were always more than happy and willing to help / partner up with for studying and encouragement. Above all it was a very positive learning environment. I very much had fun learning, coming to school, and definitely appreciated the people there. Thank you so much!

Big Thank you to Brent and Jackie (Hamilton, Ontario location) for all their help and support training me for my AZ liscense! I was so nervous and excited to make the change into trucking but together they made everything as smooth as possible. I had so much fun training with Brent. I'm sure he gained a few more stress hairs having to copilot next to me those first few days but I appreciate the faith and encouragement he always gave teaching me a lot along the way. Jackie is every students biggest supporter, she truly does want to see us all succeed. Her big happy smile and encouragement to pursue every option helped me get to where I am today. Within days I was into a full time position in an amazing company. My life has truly change for the best I couldn't have done this without either of them!!

The Hamilton campus was an excellent experience. I learned so much with TTCC at the Hamilton campus. The learning environment and knowledge that was taught here was above and beyond what a student could ask for. Had a great experience taking the platinum course at TTCC hamilton. Jacquie the campus coordinator was always pleasant to speak with and greeted you with a smile from the door. Brent and kyle from hamilton and Rob from Saint Catherine were my A-Z truck instructors. They insured that I understood all the material that was being thought and answered any... see more questions that I may have had. It was great to have 3 different teaching styles all geared towards helping you to succeed. Alex in Cambridge was my heavy equipment instructor. Great guy always showed up on time even showed up when there was a full fledged blizzard active to ensure I was able to finish my last class. I appreciate the hamilton family and I would highly recommend this course.

Kevin did 19 out of the 20 classes I did and he is an incredible instructor very on point with every instruction and helping you understand! Very easy to get on with and is willing to go the extra mile to help you in your classes!

I had the best experience with this school, starting with their head office. They worked around my schedule as I had a full time job and it worked out perfectly. Jackie who was in charge of the Hamilton campus was so professional and helpful and gives the warmest welcome with a huge smile as soon as you step foot... see more on site. We did the virtual class portion of the program first and Instructor Rob was amazing, easy going and made sure that I understood everything he was saying-this makes a huge difference when English is not your first language! We then transitioned into driving where I met my instructor SHAWN WHITE - Stay away from him he's crazy! (Just kidding) but that's what I thought of him when he put me on a tractor trailer the first day and got me to drive on the road as his goal was to remove that fear we all first came with. I was so nervous and scared but his words to me from day 1 were, '' you are a professional driver.'' Shawn's positivity and motivation goes above and beyond! He had a lot of patience but pushed your limits and gave you 10000%. One day he came back to the school from another student's driving test, which he had aced (as all Shawn's students do) .....He was happier than the student himself ! He absolutely loves seeing his students succeed and that's when I knew I was in good hands. He treats you like family and I will forever be grateful. I cannot stress enough how worth it this school and the instructors are as I am now proud AZ license holder thanks to them. To Shawn: no matter how professional I get- I'll always be the student. I really could not have done it without you! So thank you and hats of to you and the other instructors at TTCC.
