I have just completed the Construction Silver program and received my AZ driving licence and my Heavy Equipment certification. I felt compelled to write this letter to let you know about my experience during this course and the instructors and staff I dealt with. My first contact with TTCC was with Cara Hunter. Her outstanding customer service skills and ability to think outside the box was very impressive. I almost went to another school as they could provide student housing in the Niagara on the Lake region. I really did not want to do that but was the only option as I did not have a car at the time. Cara called me back 5 minutes later and said she had made arrangements for me to be picked up. You should be very proud to have an employee like this working for you. The campus manager at Niagara on the Lake Jennifer Eves is awesome. Her customer service skills and administrative skills are unmatched. She has the ability to juggle so many things at one time and somehow she gets it all to work out. Without her I’m sure you would have to pay 2 people to do her job and may not get the same quality. My in class instructor for the truck training was Rob Remigio. He is a really great instructor and has a lot of years of experience driving a truck. He is very approachable and quickly answers questions and makes the classroom environment enjoyable and not a boring day. He explains the topics clearly so that everyone understands and gives examples to show how it all works. Not an easy job given the different student personalities he has to deal with. My heavy equipment instructor/trainer was George Peters. I can’t say enough good things about this man. He has many years experience on heavy equipment and loves to share that information with his students. He is very easy to talk to and eager to answer all questions and show you how to use the equipment and better ways to do things. He gets information across easily in the classroom and makes it enjoyable. Last but not least is my truck driving trainer Barclay Crosier. I don’t know how he put up with me and all my mistakes. I could not have passed my AZ road test without his guidance. He is also very easy to talk to and does not talk down to his students. When I made a mistake he does not get excited, he just shows me how to correct the issue. He is quick to answer all questions and makes the training most enjoyable. He always has a positive word of encouragement and a smile on his face. I am sure you know the value of staff like this for your school. Each and every one of these people gives 110% of themselves to the school and their students and you should be very proud of them. Thank you for providing such a great education for me to start my new career in the transportation industry, I am looking forward to starting work in a few days. Sincerely

I would love for people to know how much i enjoyed myself while taking these courses in SSM. I have learnt so much and honestly I'm crying at the moment because I’ve never been able to be where I am today. With your help and your job contacts as well as my grandmother for all the support she has given me through the whole 9 weeks I’m so grateful. Thank you so much for the great opportunity that I received, no words that can express the way I feel right now!

I am a recent graduate of TTCC. I got my ACZ licence on June 10th 2013. I was hired by Hyndman Transport LTD 1972. I spent 5 weeks on the road with a Hyndman trainer. Last Thursday, I took the drive test with Hyndmans training Manager. I passed the drive test and was given my own truck. The one you see in the picture I sent. I am sitting in Birmingham Alabama after making my first delivery alone. I am sitting in a flying J waiting for my next load assignment. I wish to thank TTCC for the excellent training through which none of this would have been possible. Thank you very much!

I will soon graduate from the Silver Construction Program at your Hamilton Campus. In less than 3 months, the expert and dedicated staff at that campus location have prepared me for a potentially life changing and lucrative career. Without the extremely personal, inventive, and tireless efforts of the staff at TTCC, I would have been inadequately prepared to successfully apply for employment in the Alberta oil sands. I truly can not say enough about the staff and faculty at that location and count myself lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from these experts in their respective fields. Prior to beginning my studies at the Hamilton campus, not only had I never driven a transport truck before, but I also had never operated heavy equipment. Despite my inexperience, not only did I obtain my A/Z and C licenses, but I have also gained valuable skill, experience, and insight into the safe operation of heavy equipment. Furthermore, having dealt with school administrations and faculty and having taught at the university level, I can personally affirm the quality and professionalism of the individuals employed at the Hamilton campus location. In closing, please accept my enthusiastic thanks for administering such an excellent program and employing such professional and effective faculty and administration. Without the trades I have learned at your school, I would not have been eligible or successful in my application for a new career in one of Canada’s fastest growing industries. Sincerely,
Peter Fairman

The course was Awesome, all the Instructors were very Professional and very good, thumbs up to them. Matt Young at the Construction Pit was Excellent 5 out of 5 stars! Garth, the AZ truck instructor, was very patient and very calm, he showed me from A to Z, he explained to me also on why we are doing it. Claude and Andy, they were very Good too. If there were improvement to do, is the Scheduling, I just can't do it, doing AZ truck and heavy equipment at the same time, mixing it all together, for me, it has to be AZ truck course first, completed, then Heavy Equipment, or vice-versa. Thanks for getting my Self-Esteem back, since my Medical Released from the Canadian Armed Forces on March 2015, I enjoyed every seconds with TTCC school.

Hello. I graduated from TTCC early this spring. As a mature student, it was very hard for me to go back to school. From the minute I walked in the door, Christine made me feel extremely comfortable. I decided to take the construction silver program. I'm so happy I did. I loved every minute of being in the machines. With Gino's many, MANY, years of experience, there is no one better to teach you as much as he can and as much as you are willing to learn. Then I got into a truck. I loved it! Scott and Peter are amazing instructors. I was so nervous at first, but they got me to relaxed and I picked up on it very quickly. I then decided that the long hours of being a truck driver was for me. After graduation, it took me one day of looking for a job to get three offers. I now work for Modern Forwarding out of windsor. I can't tell you enough how lucky I am to be working for such a good company and making the kind of money that I am. It's all because of the amazing training I got from TTCC. Christine, Scott, Peter, and Gino, thank you SO much for taking me under your wings and helping me form a new, better life for myself and family. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for you guys. Thank you for helping me with the best decision I've made for my career. With sincere thanks,

Great place! Rob and Dave know their stuff when it comes down to the trucking part! George is the man that shines when it comes to the heavy equipment! Between the 3 of them they have helped me get my AZ license along with heavy equipment tickets and I look forward to going back for the last 2 pieces one day.

Transport Training Centres of Canada gave me all the knowledge and confidence I needed to drive a transport. It only took me 2 months to find local work in my own community. Thank you to all the great staff and the Cornwall Transport Training Centre.

Transport Training Centres of Canada gave me all the knowledge about operating a tractor trailer, and driving skills that I needed to become a professional driver. Even as a young driver (19yrs old) Transport Training Centers of Canada gave me the confidence to go out there and hand out as many resumes as I could and 2 days after the program I found an amazing job at Flanagans Food Service. I was confident and calm and passed my road test thanks to TTCC. Personally I give the program a perfect 10 out of 10. The instructors at TTCC are amazing and very patient and want to see you succeed. The staff is very friendly, whether it’s looking for a job or building a new, more attractive resume, you can always count on them to help you out!
